[Magdalen] stuck at the drawbridge

We were all helped to college by my dad's contribution to the textbook that
for years was the standard for Physical Geography 101 in most colleges and
universities. I also know how hard he worked on it for several years prior
to publication, so I know how much he deserved tose royalty checks.
