[Magdalen] Uber or Lyft drivers?

Thanks for the prayers. They truly mean a lot to me.

Jim - I am hearing of more and more people who do that, especially to the
airport. The one tip I did get was to keep in mind that daytime rides are
usually to work/airport/etc. Nightime Ubers are often people who have been
drinking.

Judy - yes feel free to pass my email to your son. I would love to hear
about the experience from someone who has driven for them.
Grace - I am now on the supply list for the diocese. And Charlottesville
is not too far. I am really open to interim work as well. I have completed
part 1 of the interim training (Interim Ministry: The Work of the Leader)
and will be taking part 2 the second week of June (The Work of the
Congregation). There is still a third part to get officially certified,
which is not class time but a personal project which follows the two class
sessions. They say that takes about 6 months, but you have to be in a
congregation to do your project, so we will see when I can do that. Rick
and I had talked about interim work as a possible part of my future for
many years now - long before I moved to VA.
Christopher - I am looking all over, so you may hear from me. I grew up in
eastern PA, but found the Episcopal Church after I left that area, so don't
know any of the churches there.

I've actually got a couple of bishops who have been in touch with me and
would love to get me into their dioceses (Milwaukee, Western NC). I've had
the Transition Minister from MD get in touch with me hoping I'd consider a
parish he had open (no - I am not a good match for a parish that leads with
their membership in the Communion Partners, and is "looking for a rector to
uphold our conservative ideals", so maybe I've already NOT taken the first
job to come along?) The search committee coming this weekend is from
Western North Carolina.
