... yeah, there is that. I was actually reacting to a radio speech of the TX 
Gov mansplaining that  IF the Legislature was reconvened, ONLY HE could call 
for that to happen AND he will choose ONLY those particular subjects (among 
100s) that HE wants that were not settled in the regular session - top two 
will be the bathroom/Transgender bill - TX version - hystericiczed into a 
'protect women' bill, and one of his other favorites that even the 
Republicans (in the vast majority of TX government) couldn't pass for him. 
Heretofore the TX Governor did not have this much power until Mr. Perry sat 
in Austin so long, he just kind of bullied his way into new social mores... 
previously the Lieutenant Governor was actually the power of the 
Legislature.  We have a conservative, former radio show host, radicalized by 
the original tea partiers in that role now.  It will be an interesting post 
legislature session.... The House Speaker here has actually done quite a 
nice runaround the Gov, on a number of issues, but that may not hold.

Stay tooned. It'll be loony that's for sure.
