[Magdalen] Sutherland Springs

Sutherland Springs is about a half hour east of downtown San Antonio. The
local news last night was full of interview with people who saw something
or thought they saw something or knew someone who saw something. There
seemed to be a premium on people who would cry on camera or whose voices
would break at just the right moment. Then, there were those who seemed to
really be relishing their 2 minutes of fame with the bright light of a TV
camera in their face(s). It was a full blown circus with reporters unable
to stop themselves from asking people "how they feel."

Our idiot Attorney General has been all over the TV talking about how
important it is for good people to arm themselves and be prepared when this
kind of thing happens. It's the "good man" narrative that has the gun lobby
so enamored right now. SMH...

Media circus aside, it is an unbelievable tragedy. The little town has a
total population of about 400 with 27 of them gunned down while at worship.
Lord have mercy!

Peace, Rick
