Yes, my daughter was just fussing that she didn’t think folks should be celebrating this because of the sexual identity issue. She said that would be no different from voting for a person specifically because of their race or gender.
I told her that I didn’t think that was *why* most people voted for her; they probably just wanted Marshall out. I told her that if I’d been in his district, I would have voted for a loaf of bread, if it were running against him!
