[Magdalen] Theological and Liturgical Tidbits - St. John's Abbey.

There’s a R.C. church in the neighborhood and, since it’s the city with
sidewalks but no parking lots, sometimes we walk through crowds leaving
weddings and funerals and first communions. Many comments from the
now-unchurched about how the liturgy has changed over time. I hear surprise
but not disappointment. No curmudgeonly complaints.

I’m old enough to remember the mass in Latin. Nobody paid much attention.
Now at least people appear to be listening.
