Paul Ryan is a weenie. As Speaker, he couldn't even control his own party.
I don't think Mitch McConnell, who, despite all his creepiness, CAN do
that, has a very high opinion of Paul, I think the only thing he's setting
himself up for is a career as a wealthy, slimy lobbyist. He knew he was
going to get his clock cleaned by whichever Democrat won the primary, and
he'd never lost a Republican one in that district (you have to have some
appreciation of how his gerrymandered district works to appreciate that,
and I do, since it's next door to the one in which I grew up). If the
Republicans don't quickly come up with *something* they are going to lose
that seat, because now the front runner is a horrible racist/nazi who's
been banned from Twitter.
