[Magdalen] Another dumb tech question

WiFi is local. Internet requires something functioning outside of the
wifi router. 2 different things, 2 different sets of equipment. (Wifi
gets you to the local 3G/4G tower, the tower gets you to the
internet.) Phones can go direct to a tower without benefit of wifi.
Computers (generally) cannot.

We've relied on the Culpeper Dump Tower 4G for - oh - about a year. It
has not been functioning for about 3 weeks - we have to go INTO
Culpeper to get 4G on our phones. Luckily, we still have our 3G router
and it is functioning. Slowly. Old technology.

The recent rains have been nasty to internet receiver/transmitters on
local towers.
