Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Knoxville is the center of the deaf Catholic
community there, and was the site of the baccalaureate mass for Betsy's
graduation. One of the boys in her class was the hearing son of deaf
parents, so there was a considerable turnout from the deaf community. They
were all sitting together and it got downright rowdy before the mass, with
much signing overhead etc...even though it was completely silent.
