[Magdalen] Facial Adornment.

I had a rather long goatee in college. When I decided to grow it again a
couple of years later, by then married, I wisely asked my wife for her
approval. The only thing she said was "keep it short". I have worn a well
trimmed beard ever since and much prefer it that way. It's still rather
thin on the cheeks because that's how my facial hair grows, but it beats
the heck out of shaving every day. A trim once a week suffices nicely.
