[Magdalen] For those not on Facebook

There’s another funding site I’ve supported a couple of times that is especially for teachers. A friend of mine had put in a request to fund materials for her advanced Earth Science classes, and it popped up on FB.
Then I would get suggestions for projects at other local schools. For one of them I contacted the teacher and asked if I could visit the class sometime to see what we had contributed. He said anytime.

Of course, I think it’s too bad that teachers have to resort to this to get what they need, but this seems to be a fact of life these days.
At least this system allows them to use less of their own money.
