What is the deal with the fashions chosen by Melania Trump?  I am no expert 
in haute couture, but the stuff she picks is pedestrian.  With the memory of that
bulky and unattractive blue outfit she wore a year ago for the Inauguration,
she wears a white nondescript dress last night for SOTU.  I think of that
scene from the original French version of ""La Cage Aux Folles," where
Mr. Charrier exclaims, "White!  White?!  It makes me look enormous!"
 
I thought white was for the summer.
 
The poor woman competes with the memories of Michelle Obama, and
