That is the real surprise. I was saying in the schools I am associated
with that the weather would change about 3.30 last Friday when they
finished for the 6 week holiday. A teacher friend said it would be at
7.30 when the teachers were all in pub gardens celebrating the end of
the school year. He got the timing right but, as Michael says, the hot
dry weather has returned. We're meant ti have rain on Friday (though
still hot), but then very warm again after a couple of days of cooler
weather. Hardly any sun gets into my apartment so it is cool but I
notice it when I step outside.
