[Magdalen] Readings?

Replying from England. Ever since the modern forms of worship came to be
used here, three readings have been normal at Sunday HC. Psalms are also
appointed, but not all use them. In my last charge, where I had 8
churches, it was only when the service was from the 1662 BCP that we had
only two readings. We did not usually use Psalms at HC but they were, of
course, used at morning and evening prayer - which were said in at least
one of the churches every day of the year.
At St Mary Magdalene, Keyworth where I have usually worshipped since
retirement, the three lessons and the Psalm are always used at HC - and
this is a high church.
God bless
