[Magdalen] Jeff Sessions Brought Up On Church Charges

That is my impression as well. The minister, for example, wears alb & stole
at communion services. I've never seen discourse between minister &
congregation as David reports (except during announcements, of course).

One of the main differences I've seen is the old evangelical hymns they
occasionally sing, which I'm totally unfamiliar with.

Well, yes, that’s what I was picturing. But then after reading David’s
comment, I thought maybe I had the wrong denomination.
I haven’t been to a Methodist service in years, except for an occasional
funeral, but my sense has been that they seem to be moving in a more formal,
liturgical direction.
