There was that cameo episode of Star Trek - Next Generation - that featured
him as an alien species with the  custom of putting to death all persons
above a certain age.  There was a romance with Xwaxana Troi, but even
that could not save him from the inevitable when it was time for him to die.
Actually rather sad.
