Well that really sucks!!

I'm very sorry to hear of this.  I can imagine how unsettled you must
feel.  I recall being a basket case when I had a minor surgical procedure.
There is really not much aside from prayer that you can do.  You feel so
vulnerable, because here are all these folks who are doing all this stuff
and you have no idea what's actually going on.  Not being in control can
throw anyone for a loop.

However, the point to keep in mind is that once this is over, it is over.
The waiting really sucks. You just need to take focus off the coming
procedures, and not let it get to you (and to a large extent you can
redirect your thoughts into other stuff. Keep busy!)

I had my procedure and then hurt for a while, but after a few weeks, it was
just a bad memory. I have no idea what happened to the scar, but I can't
find it at all anymore.

Hang in there. We are all pulling for you and praying for you.
