[Magdalen] Solemn Palm Sunday?

One year at St. Stephens a kid slouched down the aisle to take his place as
narrator.
Rail thin, trousers sagging below his behind.
“Oh, Lord,” I thought.
He then delivered himself of a radio-quality reading,
perfect modulation in a recently-changed voice,
a tiny bit of drama here & there,
clear and clean and I’ve never heard better.
Lynn is one of the poorest cities in the Commonwealth.
Just goes to show how the hurdles of bias can trip you up.
