[Magdalen] Prayer list saga continues

Perhaps use first names only?  God knows those for whom we pray.  I don't
have a good answer.  Prayer lists have a potential for being problematic,
even with permission. - unless it is written and signed.

Many moons ago, I was asked by a priest in another town to work
individually with two people from a prayer group at his church.  The prayer
group had become a source for gossip.  Gawd.  Both women were very hurt.  I
don't remember how the parish resolved the prayer group issues.

Also, my husband reported after a vestry retreat - again, many moons ago -
that the vestry was standing in a circle, holding hands and praying aloud
for people in need.  When someone prayed for a particular person by name,
one of the vestry people in the circle blurted out, "Oh, I didn't know he
was sick.!!"  Gawd.
