[Magdalen] VA ending bishop search

We just received a letter today that the Diocese is suspending its search for a suffragan. They are instead going to work on some ongoing issues at the diocesan staff level.

Some us are thinking that it’s about time, but I have a question for this group.

They letter says they are hoping to work with the Lombard Group, which is Mennonite and has a good reputation for this kind of work. But I remember hearing at one point—maybe on this list—that they had been unsuccessful in working with some group because their model didn’t fit the situation and was designed for a different situation altogether.
Was that information from one of you? I don’t remember; I just know that when I saw their name in the letter today, a red flag went up.
