Amazon is coming up with Alexa for your car. I signed up for one at half
price to be given to S/O as gift if I'm chosen to receive it. He let his
Sirius subscription lapse some time back and now I'm forced to listen to
podcasts of old time radio when I ride with him. Most of them are okay, but
the voice of the guy hosting the Old tTime Detectives is so horrible that I
sometimes want to scream and jump out of the car. He can get the dang
podcasts on Alexa too, plus music of his choice.
I'll buy one for myself at full price, as far as that goes, when they hit
the market. I only hold on to Sirius because of Progressive Talk (and that
only for Stephanie Millier and Dean Obeidallah!) and the audio of MSNBC,
plus Sunday morning classical when on my way to church. I can get most of
that on Alexa.
