After years of doing supply work, most recently a 6-month-long stint at one church, I will be Priest-in-Charge at that church, Christ Church, Brandy Station, VA, beginning January 1st. This will be a one-year term, renewable with the Bishop’s permission.
It feels odd, but also exciting.
A friend of mine was asked recently if she had “failed” retirement again! She said yes.
I guess I have, too!
