[Magdalen] Where Were You?

I was a young married with school-aged kids. I remember the children
watched part of the landing at school (I was impressed that they were
supplied with this in school-time) and we all watched some more of it when
they came home in the afternoon ( no TV before tea-time was our family rule
during these years, but this was special!)
