Kate, I just read an obituary for Fr. John Livick-Moses. Did you know him? I met him years ago when I was in the Valley. He had been raised as a Methodist. I asked him once how it was that a nice Methodist boy from Waynesboro became an Orthodox priest. Without missing a beat, he said, “Upward fall!” Lovely man.
