[Magdalen] A WTF moment indeed

I just came home with groceries, walked in, and destroyed something (our
cat door in the hallway), and I have no idea why or how. Another lovely day
of this three-day weekend.

One of those "What the hell just happened?" moments. I keep trying to
interpret it, and the truth is I just don't know. Suddenly the door is
split in half, I'm dropping the two cartons of soda, and there's a pool of
Diet Mountain Dew forming in the hallway. Unbelievable. All is well now,
but...what happened? Clearly, too much force was used in opening that
door...it was clear plexiglas in a white wooden frame, well made by my
Dearest (and having destroyed something he made is the most disturbing
thing to me). He's forgiven me and reminded me the cats no longer need that
separation. Still...

Am I volatile now? Was that a release of unfocused anger? He says I looked
like I was "getting wound up." I know I was trying to get away from a
cacaphony I heard in the next-door apartment and heard them starting to
open their door, so I was hurrying in with the two unwieldy cartons of
canned soda (which I rarely buy because of that). Then just ripped that
door open and it broke in half.

I know I've been more sensitive lately to excessive or sudden noise...but
I'm starting to interpret this again and it's probably best left for
therapy on Tuesday. :)
