Good grief—I had no idea so many had left! It’s hard to imagine Lawrence would have attracted that many followers...
We’re in a similar position, vis a vis electing a diocesan, though money isn’t the issue. They showed a video address by Michael Curry during Convention last week in which he affirmed the decision to have an intentional interim period. For now our Suffragan, Susan Goff, is the Ecclesiastical Authority for the Diocese, and we have a new Assistant Bishop (I think that’s her title.) The election of a Diocesan won’t take place until the 2022 Convention, with consecration in 2023.
