[Magdalen] Poison ivy question

When I was a child, I had terrible reactions to poison ivy.  At the age of
10 or so, I breathed in smoke from a trash fire - friends and I were
playing near the controlled fire...this was legal then.  Needless to say
much of my skin, mouth, throat, and bronchial tissues were exposed.  Yes, I
had an amazing rawness that spread through these tissues.  I was a sick
puppy for 7-10 days.  I have never had a problem with poison ivy since.
