[Magdalen] Racial and Ethnic Issues.

Kamala Harris is certainly an amalgam of various racial and ethnic groups.My interpretation is that she is  half East Indian, and a half Jamaican the lattermade up of West Indian and Black African.  She iis racially made up of all threemajor races, if I have this correctly.  More truthfully, she is 100% American.  This is all just fine with me, but I can understand those who are stuck ln thepre-Immigration and Naturalization days when for many of us the USA wasan extension of European culture in the New World .(befpre l965---1966)  There waslittle discussion of what these new laws meant.  I understand even LBJ signedthe bills without really understanding what was happening.  But I like the new USA.I think my French Huguenot and Norwegian fisherman ancestors would too.   David Strang.
