Once long ago my land line was
227-1191
and there was a local karate school with the number
277-1191

The karate school advertised on television late at night (back when
independent stations ran Bruce Lee movies) and I was forever getting phone
calls after 11 pm, young boys with soft voices, who would timidly ask "Is
this the karate school?"
I used to tell them to go to bed.
