I had an unexpected call this morning in my home in the
Pennsylvania Poconos from a parishioner of the famousChurch of Saint Mary the Virgin (Smokey Mary's) justoff Times Square in New York City.  They first wanted toinform persons who receive their weekly flyers fromSaint Mary's that they were not being mailed out for theduration of the Coronavirus emergency.  He also informedme that the five clergy who live on the premises on 46thStreet are saying daily Mass and the Offices in thechurch Lady Chapel.  The whole wider family of the parishis mentioned at the Intercessions.

The church is closed to all except for those who live on theprecincts.  They are struggling along with the rest of usthrough these difficult times.
