The demonstrations here have been large and peaceful.
I wish I could get out to stand in witness.
Can hear the helicopters over both the State House (a quarter of a mile to
the southeast) and City Hall (a quarter of a mile to the northeast).
According to the tv, the full assembly just knelt for nine minutes to honor
the victim, Mr. Floyd.

Just saw a priest I know (surplice and red stole) near the head of a group
walking up from Dudley Square.

Your niece is doing good work. A couple of years ago I met a young man (he
was shadowing my PCP) who'd returned from a church mission to Haiti. His
trip there had woke him good. He'd decided what the world really needs is
nurses and he was headed to nursing school.
