The NY Times ran a fascinating article about the Town of Winhall, Vermont,
having a population explosion...people moving there from urban areas in New
York and Massachusetts especially. Vermont has wanted this but probably not
in this way. Winhall is the town where the House of Initia Nova OSB owns a
B&B (the Bromley View Inn) and that's where we hold our twice-yearly
convocations. Our May 2020 and November 2020 convocations have been
canceled, although we will gather online in November for some events. The
B&B is allowed to have some guests again, and the abbot and senior sister
who run the inn are busy with that. We also gather weekly on Sunday
afternoons for a Zoom meeting, which includes members in the USA, UK,
Ireland, and Australia. I'd better get ready for today's. :)
