[Magdalen] Big Changes

Still hanging out here in our big house in the northern Shenandoah with no
plans to go elsewhere. Spousal unit started a new job following an
unplanned (and unwelcome) departure from his former company after 13 years
with them and an unfortunately long period between due largely to Covid.
However, in hindsight, the departure may not have been a bad thing as the
president of the former outfit died last week and there is bound to be a
rather large upheaval. New position is with former company's largest
competitors <g> and a couple of other folks from former employer have also
gone over there.

In other news, I have helped my daughter and son-in-law buy a gorgeous
piece of land in Greene County, TN. At some point, after they've built
their house, they plan to build a "tiny house" for my oldest son and a
small place for us to stay (and where one of us could live permanently in
the event of the other's demise).

I continue to work in the stray cat jail at the humane society. I'm also
going to school learning to be a veterinary assistant. Not that I expect to
work as one, but it will help me at the shelter.

AND I am now a great-grandmother! Lilliana Rosemary Dawn Huertas was born
on August 16 to Zacchaeus (Jonathan's second oldest) and Tara. Alleluia!
