With Jim's accounts of Marcy, Jon entering Hospice, Esther with her pending 
biopsy (and previous issues), and my own cancer, it's all a reminder that we're 
all getting on in years (at least) and all sorts of maladies are natural at the 
age we're at.

It's important to remember that we were quite a bit younger (and certainly more 
spry) when this list started (13-14 years ago?) and that many of us started even 
earlier on TOL, and before that on CompuServe and Prodigy. So there's a core 
from this little group that has known each other via the internet or otherwise 
online (pre internet)  going on twenty five years.

That's a good run, I think.
