[Magdalen] Favorite marmalades?

That concoction is dcalled Rumtopf, and I've made it in past, starting with lots of different fresh fruit in the summer and then adding apples, oranges and even fruit cocktail in the winter, as well as replenishing the rum or brandy as need. I did keep the crock in the fridge, though. It's wonderful poured over ice cream or pound cake.
Drained, you could serve it as a chutney.
