[Magdalen] POP problems remain

A little clearer.  I use gmail 'plain'...don't read it on Outlook or
Windows Live Mail.  I have found those programs and mailing lists of any
kind to be trouble all the way.  Worked for a few days, then I was kicked
off, got it fixed, then off again.
