Many, many years ago, in a short-lived class he and his mother took at the local community college, Everett remembered yesterday a potluck for which someone provided Hawaiian meatballs.  The idea was intriguing to me, and I found this recipe for what can only be described as simple Hawaiian meatballs:  www.sixsistersstuff.com/2012/04/slow-cooker-hawaiian-meatballs-recipe.html .  I followed the recipe to a tee, and it's ramping up in the Crock right now.  Served over white rice, should be just the trick.
