[Magdalen] What are we reading?

I just finished Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandell.  I liked it a
lot.  I am currently reading Take This Bread by Sara Miles and a really
stupid cooking mystery Death of a Kitchen Diva by Lee Hollis.  I am also in
the middle of The Stand by Stephen King.  I had to return it to the library
before I could finish it.  I will get it again when the next patron returns
it.

I am looking for a good novel that isn't a dystopia or post apocalyptic,
any suggestions?
