There was once a restaurant in Madison, WI called Welch's Embers that had a
wonderful Friday Night buffet called Seven Seas which featured seafood from
everywhere. It is where I first tasted such delicacies as squid, octopus,
and yes, frog's legs and turtle. So I guess those were considered okay to
eat, as this was pre-Vatican II.
