It's true that the British eventually allowed French back into Nova Scotia.
However, unlike the French, the Scots managed to stay relatively racially
pure. There had been several early black migrations from the USA to Nova
Scotia, but the last racially segregated school against blacks in Canada
closed in Nova Scotia in 1983.
