Don't you think there's a difference between those sections of the  Liturgy
that are said by all and those that are strictly for the presider?   IOW,
clergy reading the Collects off the Prayer Book is different from  communal
parts - the Creed, the Lord's Prayer, etc.  
 
 
 
David Strang who tries not to pick up a Prayer Book if he doesn't have  to
during the Liturgy.
