[Magdalen] Theology of Healing

Some time ago, Bishop Alexander, then Bishop of Atlanta, gave a brief teaching about healing. He said "The flock is more important to God than the sheep." His explanation, healing occurs to build up the people, not to benefit the individual. Classic example is Jesus' healing of Lazarus. He did it for the community, and when I think of it, I'm not at all sure that Lazarus felt Jesus did him any favors. He already died once, and now he had to do it again.
