The Purple Headed Mountain by Martin Thornton, newly authorized reprinting by Akenside Press, with foreword by Rowan Williams. Started then didn't have time to read but might be able to restart it this week as my dear partner will be away on retreat.

The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon. Loving it but I'm very slow and its a thick book. It's our current One Book, One Chicago selection.
