[Magdalen] Sect?

It should be clear that most religionists consider most of the rest of 
religionists as belonging to a"Sect." It's most said kind of spitting it out 
indisgust.

And the objects of being called a "sect" always take exception. After all, 
**their** church is NOT a sect but the others are.

I, for one, would take the meaning to be derived from the same root as "Section" 
and maybe "Sect" should be used (not to mention accepted) not as a pejorative 
but rather as shorthand for a "Section" of the Body of Christ.
