When I was in college we sneered at people who drank.
Sad lost frat boys.

Real students smoked dope and dropped acid.
Good times!

I wanted to kiss the ER physician at Johns Hopkins (?) who
said he'd treated and admitted hundreds of patients for alcohol
but never a single one for marijuana intoxication.

A propos: I'd always thought that at the end of my life I'd want
to revisit my affair with mescaline. The other day I was over at
the hospital and guess what? The MGH Psychiatry Dept. has
a grant to study the use of psychedelics with the terminally ill.
Sign me up when/if the time comes.
