I would guess that the majority of Low-Church TEC parishes sang the fourth verse 
immediately following Old Hundredth at the Offertory. I believe this stared in 
many churches during World War I, and it certainly was still going strong in the 
1960s and 1970s.

I suspect getting rid of it went along with the switch from MP to Eucharist.

More adventurous Rectors got rid of Old Hundredth as well <g>.
