Methodists aren't supposed to use alcohol :-) The large
restaurant/bowling alley/tavern complex in the downtown
area of my home town had an inside door from the restaurant into
the saloon called "the Methodist Door". This was because
Methodists (and members of other Protestant churches)
could enter the restaurant, and not seen heading for the
saloon.

On the subject of Methodist camps:

When I was a child, there was a big Methodist campaign to
purchase, as a camp center, a lovely piece of property on a
broad point covered with mature Eastern White Pines on
Spirit Lake, symbolically, in NW Wisconsin.

The campaign succeeded, and the cabins/chapel were built,
and it functioned for perhaps 70 years. There was a steady
drop in attendance, and it was finally closed and up for sale
a couple of years ago.

Episcopal camps:

And the Diocese of Eau Claire (TEC) retreat center, Bundy
Hall in Menomonie, Wisconsin closed some years ago secondary
to declining membership and interest in church camps. It has,
ironically, been sold to Vipassana, a meditation group.
