No lawyer would agree to a 50-50 ownership deal with such a group. Either you 
own it or they own it.

And Elgin is probably the last place that the taxing authorities would put up 
with such a deal to boot.

I he's so hung up on living in community, why doesn’t he just go and do so? You 
could visit frequently, of course. Or isn’t he THAT interested in the 
Benedictine life/
