One of the artists in the gallery where I sell takes advantage of the fact
that people do not bother with fancy flatware any more. She makes beautiful
jewelry from sterling flatware that she buys at estate sales (mostly) and
antique shops. It's expensive, but it is well worth it.....and gorgeous! I
have my eye on a piece with a pink tourmaline set into it, but someone may
well buy it before I can afford it *sigh*
