+Frank was our celebrant and preacher a few weeks ago, just visiting. When
he was Bishop of Chicago, he said Mass at least one morning a week at
Ascension. He does look fit and well, and was very relaxed and
conversational in the sacristy. He asked me questions about my job; I
remember using the adjective "soul-deadening" and while I was saying it I
decided that's probably enough about my job. :) He hadn't yet seen Fr.
Cobb's revision of the St. Augustine's Prayer Book and more than hinted
he'd like a free copy (of course he got one). I was subdeacon, and during
ablutions he asked what he needs to do. I told him to consume the remaining
Precious Blood and receive the wine and water over his fingertips and then
he'd be dismissed. :) He obeyed.
